So my first day of beeing 31, hmm kind of the same as to be 30. I was on my way to Oslo yesterday but did not have to be on the meeting until wednesday so I stoped in Copenhagen instead.

It was a good choise, meet a friend her and we had dinner and some drinks before I crashed in my bed at 23, I am getting old :)

Hmm it was nice to have all the phonecalls and sms from my friends I havn't seen in a long time since I not bin in Sweden for so long, but there was one person who was to busy to call and only sent a sms and that made me very sad.

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I am getting to old, So we had planed a nice little party for me at Mykonos tomorrow. But today when I woke up I had a big cold and some fever also, and if thats wasn't enough I have to fly from the boat on my birthday for a meeting in Norway.

So instead of spending my birthday withh my friends on a beach in Greece, I will spend it alone on a airplane feeling like shit...

Now I feel sorry for my self :) :)

Must compencate this by buying myself a realy noce present..

Well yesterday was the last day in Monaco and Just before we left there was an airshow,, I will only upload some pics todau because I am to tired to wright.

Yestreday we arrived in Monaco for a 3 day stay here. And right now there is Monaco yatching week so there is a lot going on right now.

As we have an office here in Monaco I had some of the people from there over on the boat for a dinner on the ship, after that we was invited to a party to see some new Riva boats... all from 30 feet up to 92 feet. Very nice. I wish that I one day can buy a boat like that....



After that little party we went up to the Fairmont hotell for some drinks and after that to Hotel the Paris where we meet the Captain on the ship, they are changing Captain today so we had a few drinks with him..

Yesterday we had a nice dinner in Prego the Italian resturant onboard..

Start out with a bottle of Taurasi very nice wine...



Then the best Capaccio I ever had... Never thought raw meet could taste this good...

Yes... Soon it will be here, the 14th Oct season 3 of the unit is released on DVD I can't wait. This is my favourite series, and as season 2 ended I can't wait to see it.

Ms A will get it first in Florida as she loves The Unit as much as I do, and then she will send it to me...

Today we are on a small Italian island called Portoferrario, Napoleon used to live here or have a summer place or something, so e went ashore today and walked around a bit and visited this house he used to live in. It was good to have some frsh air because yesterday was little party, we were only suppose to have some wine on the balcony but then it was whiskey, vodka and beer :)

Good it was sunday today and we start work at 10.

I am tired of being single now... It is booring. I want a girlfriend, want someone to miss and think of and to know that someone is missing me...

Then one I wanted back was already taken by 2 others... To bad :(

Today we are in Sorrento, and we decide the food in the mess was nothing for us today so me Grzegorz and Amanda took the tender boat to shore and had a nice Italian lunch end then we looked in some shops.

Now back on the ship it is soon time for my run, I have a new routine onboard every day at 14,00 I run 4-5 km in the gym, so hopfully it will make some change..

Yetsreday on of the comedians onboard that usually have shows for the passangers held one show for the crew members only, it was very funny but offcourse when he needed assistance for a card trick on stage I had to go up, it was fun do and I got a bottle of champange for it.. Will be good tonight in on my balcony for sail away with ...... ?

Next to us today was another nice ship. The World, this was acculy one of the last ships built in Landskrona shipyard, and then when the hull was ready they took it up to Norway and equiped it. The thing with this boat is that there is apartments onboard. So the super rich can buy an apartment here for x million dollars and then they can coma and go as they want. And the boat will go around the world.

So today was just another day. We were at sea all day on our way from Croatia to Taromina in Sicily..

I did my usual 5 km run at 2 o'clock and now we just finished good workout. Biceps day today

Yesterday was Formal night, every day on the cruise there is a dress code for the passangers, Casual, Informal and Formal. Formal is usually 2 days every cruise one in the beggining and one in the end. This is when all dress up in toxido ond nice dresses.

These days we usually go up and eat with one of the officers in one of the special resturnts they have here onboard. Yester day was it me and my two Supervisors and the 1 Engineer who went up to eat in Silk Road witch is a japanese resturant here. A NOBU for those who know what that is. Nobu is a very famous Japaneese resturant chain in the US.

We always start the evening up in Palm Court with the captains welcom party, here the captain hold a little speach and welcomes all passanegrs onboard, and it is very nice but have you bin here 53 times is it not so funny anymore because I know all jokes he's going to tell..

Silk road is good, one of the best sushi I ever had after the Sushi resturant at the JW Marriott in Bangkok...

After that we went to the O bar and played some dart but I was so tired so I went to bed and crashed in my bed at 23,30

Yes after 3 days we are leaving Venice. I think even God didn't like Venice today ecause there has bin a big thunder storm and raining like crazy all day.

Noe we are on our way to Croatia and then around Italy and end up in Monaco around the 22 Sep...

The one thing good of leving Venice is when you sail out to sea and the ship is going right thru the city, cool to sea the big ships right in the middle of the city. The pictures are from another time we were here when the weather was better...

And today I bin onboard 1 week and I have not had a single beer or drink snce I came here, Pretty good to be me, all my friends think I am the most booring person here now only going to the gym and then to my cabin reading or watching a movie, but I know one guy that likes this and that is my Boss

A year ago was the first time I was in Venice wit, it was very nice to walk around there for 2 days with my girlfriend at that time, but 2 days was enough.

Now this year I think I have bin here atlest 20 times and it is soo boooring, and the thing is we stay here 3 days also... Have you walked the streets and seen St Marcus place it not so much more, a beer costs 10 euro so there is not even any idea to leave the boat.

Today was triceps in the gym and now I will look some episodes of Dexter....

If you have a girlfriend or boyfriend it is a nice place to go to for a romantic weekend, but only 2 days no more.... it becomes booring and you need a lot of money :)

Today we arrived in Trieste in Italy at noon, and we had a nice boat next to us. Rising Sun witch is one of the biggest privat yatch in the world. It is 138 meters long (452 feet) and costed over 230 million dollars to build.

I have 3 friend that work on this boat so they let me have a little guided tour on it, There is 45 people working on this boat, last week the owners daughter was there with a friend and 45 crewmembers serving them.

My friend told me they had some nice guest there this summer, Tony Blair, Brad Pitt, Nikki Hilton.... I was not allowed to go in to the interior for the guests but here are some pictures from the ship

Yester day we were in Dubrovnik in Croatia, which is a very nice place. We were kind of busy with work but we had a little time to go in to town and have lunch.

The only problem with Dubrovnik is that you might be there when there is a lot of cruise ships there at tha same time each carrying 2500 guest, so it can be pretty busy there.

Yesterday was a heavy chest day in the gym for me and Zimmerman. It is fun to train with a guy that big, makes me wana train even harder.

After the gym and my 30 min run we went to the crew pool and had a swim, it is nice to be there and relax when the ship is in the middle of the ocean on it's way to Dubrownik withch is one of my favourite places...

I was looking thru my pictures in my computer today and found some nice ones from a trip I did this April. My friend he used to live in Perth Austrailia all the way on the west coast before, and decided to move to Brisbane on the east coast. He packed all his stuff in a truck bought a plane ticket for his wife and 2 babies so the flew over but he needed to take his car across the country so we decided to drive the 5000km from Perth to Brisbane.

I was just signing off in Puerto Rico so after a short trip Puerto Rico-New York-Hamburg-Dubai-Perth I was there.

My head was uppside down and did not know what time it was beacause of all the time zone i flew over, so I take that as an excuse for getting so drunk the first night falling asleep on the floor.

The next day we started our trip going east for two day seeing some nature and long roads :)



These cliffs is on the southern part,, very nice we pulled of the road 100 m and found these.. 100meters down to the ocean.. You do not want to slip here .



After 3 days we arrived in a town called Cedua. Magnus my friend had a book of all 4wd track thru the desert so we decided to take a littel detour thru the desert, a track called googs track, it was 190km long, we planed to make it in 2 days.
We put up our tent and had to many beers and then fell asleep, in the morning we were to tired to go buy food so we took the famaly pizza from yesterday and put in in the dashboard and started going out thrue the desert.



We had a goal to reach a mountan called mount Fink after one day and sleep there in our tent, but after 30km I look on our roof and saw we lost some of the stuff we had there, the car was overloaded. So we had to go back and after 29,5 km we found it so we started going again and as we only could go in 20km/h max we did not make it to the mountain in time for darkness to fall so we had to put up our tent when it was all black outside.





When we woke up in the morning we found a nice supprise, 2 flat tires :) We had not seen a car since we left for the desert and we had a UHF radio in the car but noone was in range to hear us, We were lucky my friend bought a 12V compressor so we could pump the tires and then go one hour and do the same, we had one spare tire so without this one we had to walk 100km to the nearest gas station.. :)

After 2 days in the desert we finaly came out to civilasation again. We were now pretty tired of the desert so we kept us on the main roads until we arrived in Magnus new place...

If you are looking for fun driving with a lot f curves do NOT cross Australia :)


After 9 days we arrived, and it was nice to hit the beach and drink some beers, and then Ms A came down to join our party a week

Every Saturday they have a tradition onboard here to have a small party called Reefer beer, At 5 in the afternoon most of all the enginee officers and some from hotel will come down to the reefer engineers workshop (reefer engineer is the guy responsible for all AC units onboard) and have a few beers and chicken wings and garlic bread.

Very nice little break in the usual routine here. And it is extra good when The Assistant Chief Enginner is making his Thai soup, he lives down in Thailand and this is sooo good and strong..

And who can say no to taste when the cook looks like this :)

As the most of my friends don't speak Swedish I will from now on write in English instead.

Soo after 5 week's of to little training it is good to be back on the ship. And my training partner and friend Zimmerman that is always working with me is also here. The crew gym here is very good, so niw it is time to grow.

Ond we also decided to keep away from the O-bar and crew bar to get some result from our training this time. So thats why I bought 5 tv series and a couple of books to have something to do at night. Feels much

So this will be my new home for the next 3 months, I hope would not be supprised if it will be longer. But it is bad to complain when the boat is looking like this and just cruising around. I could be stuck on a supply ship outside Nigerias coast instead, as happend before, and I can tell you what that is boooooring..

Igår bytte jag ut min lägenhet i SOuth Beach på 120 kvm mot ett dooromm på Ms A college på 10 kvm och en säng på 90 cm. Men det var helt ok o jag fick en guidad visning på hennes skola, var coolt kännde nästan för att hoppa in i skolbänken igen..... hmm eller kanske inte...

Nu bär det av till Rom för jobb igen..... Massa massa jobb framför mig, men det skall nästan bli lite gott, har vart ledig 5 veckor det var längesen..

Det e skönt att ha semester denna helgen har jag inte gjort någon nytta,, inte ens tittat min jobb mail mer än en eller två gånger.

Ms S kom i lördags efter att va hat vart ute med sina rumskompisar o sen har vi inte gjort mycket hon o jag... Efter vi vaknat har jag gått till gymmet o hon pluggat lite o mellan varven kollt på säsong 2 av The Unit.. Trodde aldrig hon skulle gilla den serien men nu e hon fast .. Tur säsong 3 släpps på DVD här i october..

Sen har vi nog blii aldedes för amerkianiserade för när vi inte orkar då o köpa mat så går vi baa in på www.pizzahut.com o beställer mat online som dom lämnar vid dörren...

Idag var Labour Day här så jag jobba inte o Ms A hade inga lektioner så det blev ingen Pizza utan
